Schedule your first prenatal appointment as soon as you confirm your pregnancy. Early prenatal care is crucial for monitoring your health and your baby’s development.

3. Eat a Balanced Diet
Focus on consuming various nutritious foods to support your baby’s growth and development. I made sure to Incorporate plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and dairy products into my diet.
4. Stay Hydrated
Drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay hydrated and support healthy blood flow to your baby. This was something I worked so hard to do. But it is so beneficial for your body and baby.
5. Exercise Regularly
Engage in gentle exercises approved by your healthcare provider, such as walking, swimming, or prenatal yoga. Regular physical activity can help alleviate discomfort and prepare your body for childbirth.
Small walk- swimming- and yoga at your local YMCA. All are great for your mind and body.
6. Get Plenty of Rest
Sleeping with a bolder on your front side is so hard. Especially when you are in the last stages of pregnancy. But remember, pregnancy can be exhausting, so listen to your body and prioritize rest. Aim for at least 8 hours of sleep each night and take naps during the day if needed.

I was in and out of the hospital. If the bay hiccuped, burped, or tooted too long. Remember better safe than sorry.

I had to learn the hard way that Pregnancy can be emotionally challenging, so prioritize your mental well-being. Seek professional help if you’re experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, or mood disorders.
Another thing- make sure you are surrounded by people who care about your well-being outside of the baby. Yes, we should be excited for baby but we should also remember momma too.
23. Bond with Your Baby
I read every night to my babies. Start bonding with your baby by talking, singing, and playing music to them while they’re still in the womb. These early interactions can help strengthen the parent-child bond.
24. Prepare for Breastfeeding
Educate yourself about breastfeeding techniques, proper latching, and common breastfeeding challenges. Take classes and do your research. Consider taking a breastfeeding class or consulting with a lactation consultant for additional support.
Remember it takes time for the baby to latch- And sometimes it doesn’t happen and that’s okay. Speak with your doctor about support groups. You are not alone momma
25. Enjoy the Journey
Journal, video and take lots of pictures. Despite the challenges and uncertainties, pregnancy is a miraculous experience that marks the beginning of a new chapter in your life.
